Ceramic Christmas ornament decorated with patterns of smoky horsehair. A small natural or coloured feather completes this unique piece. This technique is borrowed from the Navajo which consists of burning horsehair on the ceramic coming out of the baking oven. The horsehair is consumed and leaves a print on the ornament. Patterns may vary as each piece is handmade.
